Operation Community - Activities that promote the ideals of American freedom and democracy and bring awareness of Veteran needs within Bastrop County. For example:
- Some LPL1384 Marines are members of the Bastrop Veterans Honor Guard that provides full military honors at local veteran funerals.
- Supports the Bastrop High School NJROTC.
- Provides gifts and meals annually for CASA families at Christmas.
- Involved in flag ceremonies in Bastrop and the surrounding areas.
- Participates in parades and ceremonies honoring veterans.
- Involved in Boy Scout activities that promote patriotism.
